How it works

One work week. Zero guesswork.

The tagline isn't a slogan — it's the actual schedule. Here's your first week on Phriday Access:

  1. Mon

    Connect

Add your store URL. Your first full scan runs overnight — no script installs, nothing to deploy.

  2. Tue

    See clearly

Every issue, ranked by legal risk, explained in plain English — not a 400-page dev dump.

  3. Wed

    AI drafts

Fixes are drafted for you: alt text, labels, contrast, code snippets tailored to your theme.

  4. Thu

    You approve

Review the queue with your coffee. Approve, edit, or reject — a human signs off on every change.

  5. Fri

    Report lands

Your evidence report arrives Friday morning: what was found, what was fixed, and when. The receipts.

Monitoring and remediation guidance — not a legal guarantee. But a documented, ongoing effort is exactly what regulators ask to see and what turns lawsuits into non-events.

Why Phriday

Overlays promise magic and get you sued. Dev tools hand you a CSV.

Phriday does the work and keeps the receipts. Monitoring, AI-drafted fixes you approve, and evidence reports — in one place.

Continuous monitoring

Scheduled scans watch every page. When a site update breaks something, you know before a lawyer — or a customer — does.

Regression alerts

New issue introduced by Tuesday's theme change? Alerted Tuesday. Not at deposition.

Plain-English fixes

Every issue explained like a human wrote it — because one did — with how-to-fix guidance a non-developer can act on.

White-label reports

Agencies: your logo, your clients, your retainer. Proof-of-effort reports they can hand to anyone who asks.

Soon

AI Fix Pass

Alt text for your whole catalog, drafted from your product data. Code fixes tailored to your theme. You approve; Phriday documents. (Launching soon.)

Agency dashboard

Every client site, every scan, every report — one dashboard. Because 15 clients shouldn't mean 15 spreadsheets.

The Phriday Files

Who got sued this week — and why.

Every Friday we publish the week's web accessibility lawsuits: who was filed against, what allegedly broke, and the pattern behind it. If your industry shows up here, your store is one theme update away from the same mailbox.

First edition: Friday, September 4. Delivered by email, always free.

FAQ

Straight answers

Does Phriday make me legally compliant?

No tool honestly can — and anyone who says otherwise is selling you a widget. What Phriday does is find the issues, help you fix them, and document a continuous good-faith effort. That documentation is what regulators ask for and what resolves most disputes. We're monitoring and remediation, not legal advice.

Why not just install an accessibility widget?

In 2025, nearly a quarter of ADA web lawsuits targeted sites that had one — 983 lawsuits hit widget-equipped websites. Widgets sit on top of broken markup; they don't fix it, and courts and accessibility professionals have noticed. Phriday fixes the markup instead, and keeps the receipts.

Does it work with my Shopify / WooCommerce store?

Yes. Phriday scans from the outside like a real user (and a real auditor) — no theme edits or scripts to install. Shopify stores were a third of sued websites in 2025, so we've tuned guidance, fixes, and reports for e-commerce first.

What about the AI fixes — does a robot change my store?

The AI drafts; you approve. Every fix lands in a review queue where you can edit or reject it. Where we can apply fixes directly (like product alt text), it's reversible metadata only. A human signs off on everything — that's deliberate, because that sign-off is what your evidence trail is built on.

Who actually gets sued over this?

Mostly consumer brands: restaurants and food 35%, fashion and apparel 26%, beauty 8%, home goods 8%, healthcare 7% — and Shopify-powered sites alone made up 33% of targets in 2025. If you sell to the public online, you're in the dataset.

I'm in the EU — does this apply to me?

The European Accessibility Act became enforceable on June 28, 2025 and covers e-commerce, with penalties set by each member state. The same formula applies: find issues, fix them, and keep records of the ongoing effort. Phriday covers both WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 AA.
